Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how zoemain1804 LLC, doing business as CrmLey ("CrmLey"), collects, uses and shares information in connection with the CrmLey website at crmley.space and the CrmLey application (the "Service").
The Service is used by businesses ("Customers"), mainly licensed insurance professionals, to manage their own leads and clients. When a Customer stores or messages contact information in the Service, CrmLey processes that information on the Customer's behalf and according to the Customer's instructions. The Customer is responsible for its own privacy practices toward its contacts.
1. Information CrmLey Collects
Account and business information: name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, tax identification details and other information provided at signup or for messaging registration.
Billing information: subscription and purchase history. Payment card details are collected and stored by CrmLey's payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by CrmLey.
Customer Data: contacts, leads, notes, tags, appointments, message content, call records, AI assistant settings and templates, and other data that Customers upload to or create in the Service.
Call information: when calling features are used, call metadata and short audio samples used to detect call status, together with resulting transcripts.
Connected account information: when a Customer connects a Google account, the calendar and email data needed for the features the Customer enables, as described below.
Usage and device information: log data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken in the Service, collected through cookies and similar technologies needed to keep Customers signed in and to operate and secure the Service.
2. How CrmLey Uses Information
- to provide, operate and maintain the Service, including sending and receiving messages, generating AI assisted replies, scheduling appointments and placing calls as directed by the Customer;
- to register brands, campaigns and phone numbers with The Campaign Registry and mobile carriers;
- to process payments and manage subscriptions and credits;
- to provide support and send service, billing and security notices;
- to monitor deliverability, opt-out rates and complaints, and to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of the Terms of Service;
- to improve and develop the Service;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce CrmLey's agreements.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
When the Smartley AI assistant or other AI features are used, relevant conversation content, contact details and Customer settings are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate responses. These providers process the information to provide their services to CrmLey.
4. How CrmLey Shares Information
CrmLey does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. CrmLey shares information only as follows:
- Service providers: hosting, database, payment processing, messaging and telephony, AI model, email and analytics providers that process information on CrmLey's behalf to operate the Service.
- Carriers and registration bodies: mobile carriers, messaging providers and The Campaign Registry, to register and deliver Customer messaging.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or when necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of CrmLey, its Customers or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.
- With consent or at the direction of the Customer.
5. Opt-Out Suppression
When a recipient opts out of messages, CrmLey records the phone number and may add it to a platform wide suppression list so that no account on the Service sends further messages to that number. Only the phone number and its opt-out status are used for this purpose.
6. Google Account Data
If a Customer connects a Google account, CrmLey requests only the permissions needed for the features the Customer enables, such as creating calendar events for appointments, sending email on the Customer's behalf, and reading lead notification emails the Customer chooses to import.
CrmLey's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide those features, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people except with the Customer's permission, for security purposes, or as required by law. A Customer may disconnect its Google account at any time.
7. Information About Customers' Contacts
CrmLey processes contact and lead information on behalf of its Customers. A person who received a message from a business using CrmLey should contact that business directly with questions about its use of their information. Recipients can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
8. Data Retention
CrmLey keeps information for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After an account is closed, CrmLey may delete Customer Data and keeps only what is needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, compliance and dispute resolution obligations, including records of opt-outs and consent related activity.
9. Security
CrmLey uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and account isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and CrmLey cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Privacy Rights
Depending on where they live, individuals may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Customers may update most account information in the application. Requests may be sent to support@crmley.space. CrmLey will verify requests and respond as required by applicable law. Requests about information a Customer stores about its own contacts are referred to that Customer.
11. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. CrmLey does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
CrmLey may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated by email or within the application.
